I'm going to show you how to remove the following effects in your client
1. The red glowing around the client when your hp reaches a certain point.
2. SDG's the dragons that spin around when you attack with a weapon socketed with sdg's
3. Stigma/Shield
4. Rank/Noblility
1. Red Glow
To remove the red glowing when your hp is low you first have to navigate to the BackToTheDays client folder. It can be in a number of places depending on where you downloaded/extracted it to. The most common places are the Downloads folder, Desktop, or Local Disk :c. Once you find where your client is located your going to open c3 then open effect and scroll down until you finally see the other folder.
Start to scroll down until you see the danger folders if memory serves correct more than one of them are there delete every folder that starts with danger. If you did that correct once you close the client and reopen when your hp gets low again you wont get the red glow.
2. To delete the SDG go back to the beginning of your client, but open the ini folder this time. Double click and open the 3DEffect file and press the combination ctrl+f on your keyboard to start the search option search the word dragon with no capitals the first that should pop up is goldendragon. Delete that along with the other words that have dragon in them along the bottom EXCEPT for dragonpool. Delete the words and the items below them up until the next [ ] bracketed word until dragonpool. After you've done that save the file some people might experience the access denied problem if you do just save the new ini file to your desktop then drag the file into your client and your done. Doing this also deletes shield/stigma effects.
4. Ranks/Nobility
Though this isnt a part of this particular server I might aswell show you how to do this one to remove rank navigate again to your client folder c3/effects/others/rank instead of looking for danger this time in others look for rank and delete that entire folder and you're done. If you do this itll clear up alot of the random things going on ingame while you're pvping minimizing distractions so you aim whatever skill you're using better.
