There are many ways you can get gems in BTD Co to include mining and hunting. Here are an explanation of a few.
They drop from all kinds of mobs!
The Salesman in the market sells a variety of super gems.
You can pay the OldQuarrier in Twin City mine cave to mine for you with server length/cost options.
Old fashioned mining works as well!
You gain Pickaxe experience and occasionally gold while mining as well. But beware, you cant afk because the mine actually will deplete.
The OldMiner will collect your ore as well, but he will only take sets of 15 of the same type and rate of ore!
In the market, JewelerLau will decompose Super and refined gems in to 5-10 normal/refined gems of the same type.
